Abstract
This study re-examines the heritage significance of the Osborne Bull from an interdisciplinary perspective, linking Manolo Prieto’s artistic career, the Bull’s evolution as an advertising and brand image, its integration into the Spanish landscape and collective memory, and its eventual heritage protection. It interprets this trajectory as a cumulative process of heritagisation—from product to image, brand, landscape, memory and cultural heritage—while also introducing the concept of the “Prietian” to define the distinctive visual language underlying Prieto’s broader oeuvre.
